Today is Zander's 2nd birthday! Since I did not have a blog back then I thought I would post some pictures from his actual "birth"day!!
This is about an hour before he was born. I was finally beginning to not feel well..it was officially hurting! I had no epidural and I give myself a huge pat on the back for it too! You will see why in the next picture!
If you look closesly the scale says 10lbs 15.5 ounces! The nurse said that the scale did not go any higher. So his official birth weight was noted as 11 lbs 0oz!
Look at the size of that chest! 
Zander pooed before he came out so this was the first chance I had to actually hold him.
His gigantic head!
Sissy gettig to hold her baby brother for the first time! As soon as he was out she was able to come in, I told her and the midwife that she was the only person who got to come in right away! I was still being stitched up (for over an hour) when she got to come in!
This is after his bath and the nurse was eyeing the outfit because it was newborn size and he barely fit into it!! From this outfit he was dubbed the "Jolly Green Giant" on the maternity floor!

Wow that's all I have to say and no epidural, OUCH!!!! Makes me that much more excited to have a c-section. Happy Birthday Zander!
