Falls Creek Falls

Yesterday we set out on another hike with the Hymas family. We went to Falls Creek Falls. Do not ask me how to get there, I would never be able to find it again! We followed Brandy and Thayne for what seemed like hours (actually about an hour and a half). Brandy tells me its just past Beacon Rock a little ways, but on the Washington side. Ok no problem! Next thing I know we are headed through Stevenson, Wa. Then it becomes Carson, Wa. And then we are in the Gifford Pinchot National Forest! I am seriously thinking we are lost! Trying to text Brandy "where is this place"...no response = no reception!! So then we turn on this dirt/gravel road and drive for about 2 more miles and finally see a sign for upper or lower falls! YAY we have finally made it...oh ya and there is only 1 port-a-potty at this place! So here are the pictures from our day! It was beautiful!!

Headed up, up, up all the hills to get to the falls...I was serioulsy huffing it!

The kids throwing rocks into the creek (that was way deeper than the kids were tall!).

Sydney and Zander at one of the bridges...this one was pretty wobbley!

Tim told me to turn around and smile, so there ya go!

Zander and I were walking back and forth on a log, so we decided we need to take our own picture!

The falls

I told Tim that him and Zander looked Celestial!

Zander wanted nothing to do with his picture being taken, but we got one anyways!
