Sydney strives for perfection. She is much like her daddy in that matter. She is offended when someone hurts her feelings, says something mean to her or ignores her. She wants everyone to like her. She is not a snob, or a brat, or a mean girl. She is kind to others, loves her friends dearly and would do anything she possibly could for her friends. She is a fantastic daughter, sister, niece, grand-daughter and friend. If people can't see this about her then they have problems. Most people see her true spirit, how kind and loving she is. Right now she is upstairs giving Zander a bath while I am on the computer.
My reasons behind this post is because she has been hurt. Not physically, but emotionally. She has had a friend for awhile now and they use to be inseparable. They played all the time. Lately her friend will not talk to her. Sydney tries repeatedly to be friends yet once again with this girl and to no avail. She is hurt and confused and has no idea what she has done to cause this friend to dislike her. One day while getting out of the car she saw this friend and Sydney said Hi _____. The girl rolled her eyes, said something to her sibling while looking at Sydney and they ran away from her. All the while I am watching this from my seat. My heart breaks for her.
Sydney gets boys more. Probably due to the fact that she has an uncle 15 months older than her. She always tells me girls are mean and nasty...I have to agree!! I always got along better with the boys too. Of course I had several close girlfriends, but the boys were easier to get along with. Less hormones!
I pray that Sydney can find a good girlfriend to call her best friend. Someone we can have over often and she can go to her home too. I have a hard time with her leaving me and going to others homes, especially if I don't know the parents very well. I would rather her be here with friends so I know what she does, but I will have to get over that!
I love Sydney and she is my best friend. We love each other to the ends of the earth and yet we fight like sisters! I wouldn't have it any other way!

Alexus delt with that at the end of last school year! It sucks, they don't understand. Even more, it make them hurt, when who really hurts is the child that is saying it. I oftened wondered why is ___ so sad, what is going on in her life. What we need to remind our girls is that they are loved, and that it will get WORSE! That we went through this too, and didin't understand it then. I hope that it gets better!
Oh dear Sydney! She really is a sweet girl! I feel bad for her! It seems like things have gotten so much worse since we were kids it makes me worried for Sariah when she get's older!!! I REALLY hope things get better for her!!!!
I hope she finds a good girl friend too! They are so important but this age is so tough. Morley doesn't have a good close friend either. Matt says it is okay...I hope he is right!
