The Easter Bunny

Wel this was our last year celebrating the Eater Bunny, Santa Claus, Tooth Fairy..am I missing anyone?! Last Saturday night (Easter Eve) Sydney was actig kinda weird and I asked her what was up and she was kinda smirking and said nothing. I asked if there was anything she wanted to know, kinda guessing that the question of "is the Easter Bunny real" was coming!
And I was right...this was our conversation.....
mom...Did you want to know anything?
sis...will I get into trouble if I ask?
mom...no
(we are both kind of laughing during this whole time)
sis...well I'm not sure I want to ask you!
mom...why?
sis...what if I don't get anymore presents?
mom...what do you want to know?
sis...well I found my Santa Claus letters awhile ago
mom...you did?! where?!
sis...in a drawer looking for a ruler
mom...how long ago was that?
sis...a long time ago
mom...hmmm
sis...so do I still get Christmas presents?
mom...of course, but probably not from santa anymore...we will just have to play it up for Zander for awhile now until he no longer believes. So you will get a present unwrapped just to play the game for Z.
sis...ok, what about the easter bunny?
mom...what about him?
sis...real?
mom...what do you think?
sis...no
mom...correct and even the tooth fairy isn't real!
sis...where did all my teeth go?
mom...i have them in a drawer
sis...can I see them?
mom...later and now there will be no more $$ under your pillow for teeth!!! Just candy!
sis...this sucks!

So that was the jist of our conversation....she wasn't upset, kinda surprised that the tooth fairy wasn't real! But we kinda knew she knew. She would just say and do weird things and questions about it all the time. So now she knows.
