Entering the Blogging World!

Ok so here we go! I have some friends who have been blogging, so I thought I would get in on it. We shall see how it goes, I'm not much of a journal writer, so I don't know how well this will be kept up. But its a new year, so why not try something new?

So this is my family...My husband Tim, myself, our 8 year old daughter, Sydney and our 13 month old son, Zander. We have been married for 9 1/2 years and known each other about that same amount of time!!

Tim and I met in May of 1998 at a church dance, while I was already engaged. The guy I was engaged to, myself and my friend Jill and her fiance at the time all went together. Jill had been wanting to introduce me to this guy, Tim, for quite awhile. Well he happened to be there so the intros were made. He had no idea I was engaged and proceeded to ask me to dance infront of my fiance. So Tim and I danced. No clue what song was playing or how long we were out on the dance floor. But we talked for what seemed like forever. I had been having thoughts of calling my wedding off, which was 2 months away. The next day I went to a missionary homecoming of a friend and talked with my seminary teacher for a few hours about everything. I went home and called my wedding off. The best thing I ever did!!

I went to another church dance the following weekend and started to date Tim! We were engaged a month later. We got married in September 1998 and found out we were pregnant with Sydney 2 months later!! It was insane! We hardly knew each other and here we were married and pregnant! Oh the emotional roller coaster we were on! Not the happiest of times, but here we are almost 10 years later and doing much better and happy!
